This area is perfect for people who love nature and prefer a quieter place than the busy coastline. National and international professional cycling teams train in this area due to the climate in combination with the impeccable roads of the valleys and mountains.

One of the favorite, most valued restaurants in the Parcent area is the Coll de Rates restaurant and bar. It is situated on top of the mountain with the most stunning views of the coast from Benidorm to Denia. They serve the best German dishes and frequently organize barbecues and live music.
If you are looking for an authentic paella, the best in the area according to Tripadvisor is in Parcent. The L'Era restaurant only serves paella in a menu formula, but reservations are required if you want to secure a table.

Parcent is a very small village, but it has a modern pharmacy, a local supermarket, a small hotel and several bars and restaurants. Every Friday you can see specialized doctors at the communal medical center by appointment. If you need more urgent help there is a medical center in Orba and several specialized doctors in Jalon.

Jalón and Orba are very active villages just a few minutes away by car that organize many activities throughout the year. Both have a wide range of bars and restaurants and there is a large British community.
